The founders of LCC do collectively, as the basis on which the Organisation is and is to remain founded, declare and affirm their personal faith in the truths of Christianity as revealed in Holy Scripture, including the following; (i) We believe in divine inspiration of the Holy Scripture and its consequent entire trustworthiness and supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (ii) We accept the revelation of the triune God given in the scriptures and confess the historic faith of the gospel set out in the Nicene Creed as follows: We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth and all things visible and invisible and in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds, Light of Light, very God of God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father; by whom all things were made; Who for us men, and for our salvation, came down from heaven and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary, and was made man; He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered, and was buried, and the third day He rose again, with glory, to judge the living and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end. And in the Holy Spirit, who is Lord and Giver of life, who proceeds from the Father, who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified, who spoke by the prophets. (iii) We also believe and regard as crucial to the practice of our faith, the following: • Marriage was ordained by God at creation as the sacred union of one man and one woman. All sexual relations must therefore be reserved for that union. • All human life is sacred and worthy of protection from the moment of conception to the time of natural death
